johnrhopkins
I'm having an issue with this downpipe. See in the image below, the red arrow points to the offending bolt. The red rectangle points to the point of contact. The bolt is just barely too high. It is stopping me from mounting the downpipe to the turbo. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm going to file down the flange on the downpipe in the morning if no one has any better suggestions. Thanks in advance. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3415/3203160800_dcbea0aa3b_o.jpg

korpsepatrol
so its an x02 dp not an invidia. It seems like you could have also filed down the stud instead. 2008 6mt Legacy Gt Spec B DGM - Not so Stock/Work in progress 2006 5mt Legacy Gt OBP - Sold 2005 5eat Legacy Gt OBP - RIP R.I.P Coxx
kevkel33leg05
+1 to korpsepatrol. I had the same prob and just cut the top of the bolt with a cut off wheel.
johnrhopkins
either way. probably better to have done the bolt, but I don't have a cutter. I had a file. All installed now, reflashed with Stage 2 tune.
johnrhopkins
I need to get a new gasket for the mid-pipe to whatever the muffler section is called. Will the OEM gasket that subaru sells work?
Mr. Ed
I need to get a new gasket for the mid-pipe to whatever the muffler section is called. Will the OEM gasket that subaru sells work? does that downpipe have the flange lip for the stock donut gasket to fit on?
kevkel33leg05
yes and yes. That downpipe uses the donut gasket.
