Scooby2.5
Awesome, thanks! It looks about a thousand times better for sure. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5035/5889288377_5cbe2af3fe_b.jpg Hey sublime can you measure from the ground to the center of the fender well edge? Im curious what that measurement is at all 4 corners. I have my outback lowered on BC/BR coilovers and it looks to be about the same height as your LGT suspension. Sublimejoe
those are stock size tires right? whats your alignment look like? Yes sir, stock rims and tires. I have my alignment sheet in my car, I will scan it tomorrow and post. It is honestly really solid. The rear end was a bit of trouble but it eventually worked out. Sublimejoe
Nice! I am trying to figure out what size rims to go with (I am a big planner so I want to get that figured out) and I don't want to lower it any more than it already is. What size rims and tires would I have to get so I have the same overall diameter that I have now with my stock rims and tires?
Scooby2.5
245 45 18 is what a lot of guys are running on the OB and it looks good. Look around on the forums there are a few with that size
Sublimejoe
Nice, I would like to go a bit wider too, stock rims are 8.5" correct? Is 9" about as wide as I would want to go without getting that retarded "hellaflush" look?
Scooby2.5
stock outback XT rims are either 7 or 7.5 http://www.cars101.com should help you. You would want 18x8 48 offset I believe to run the 245 45
Sublimejoe
I am looking around a bit on here trying to find someone with an Outback on LGT suspension with aftermarket rims. Hard to phrase that for a search!
Duffman
I am running 235/45 17 on a set of BBS RX rims. They are 7.5" wide and that is the biggest they are rated for. I believe the stock rims you have (same as my stock) are only7" wide

sethdreidel
Got lost in the tread trying to find my answer, curious exactly which Legacy Gt I can swap from to do this the easiest? Thanks -Seth
neddy1081
After the LGT spring/strut install any idea how wide of a tire can fit? I would like to get 9" wide tires under there.
Rhitter
It really depends on the wheel. A 9 inch wide wheel can fit given a low enough offset and the right size tire. It will require fender work though. My OBXT build
