fieldy72233 Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I am planning on replacing the clutch in the next month or so. While the transmission is out, what else should I look at replacing? I am not sure what the technical name is, but what transmission mounts, shifter brushings etc? Anybody have a list of what should be upgraded? If you have the money, you could get a WRX flywheel or even better a Streetlite flywheel - unlocking a few "free" horsepower. Added bonuses would be a free revving engine. fieldy72233 Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share Posted January 5, 2009 Yeah I apologize I did not qualify. I am looking at the ACT clutch and street light flywheel. The kick comes with everything needed for the install, including throw-out bearing and the flywheel. What about tranny mounts, do those make a difference in feel/shifting?
