Other than that, I do hear the 2 gen Legacy's engine basically sucks... (Head gasket blow, then here & there goes wrong....) can anyone give me some insight about it? Garandman Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 That Legacy "GT" is a different trim level than the Outback but with similar equipment. The biggest difference is 16" rims. They're worth what an Outback or Legacy is worth. Around here that would be $2,500 to about $4,000 depending on miles and condition.
