The 90 min is $50 a case so I only get 6 packs every now and then... You definitely can feel the 9% alc. Not a fan of the fruity Holiday spice beer. Beer should not taste like a spice cake.... Abandonhope16
Tried Celebration Ale the other day; good, but too heavy for me. Could smeone briefly explain 90min vs 60min IPA, etc? Whats with the minutes?
sactojesse
Tried Celebration Ale the other day; good, but too heavy for me. Could smeone briefly explain 90min vs 60min IPA, etc? Whats with the minutes? It has to do with the amount of time that the brew is being continuously hopped. It's explained at the Dogfish website: http://www.dogfish.com/ 60 minute = 6 % alcohol by volume, 60 IBU (International bitterness units) 90 minute = 9 % abv, 90 IBU. Thus, the 60 minute is an American IPA, while the 90 minute is an Imperial or double IPA.

Rika
Tried Celebration Ale the other day; good, but too heavy for me. I thought it was exsacly like Sierra Nevada with a little spice; ok but nothing "bold"
mattg
Funny when someone tries a strong winter ale and proclaims it to be too heavy. That's what winter ale is about. AK, $6.99 is a great deal.
