BigBad
For me no they feel pretty good, but as you and others seem to like the higher psi's I think I will give it a shot and see how it compares.

rtbrjason
Mine are at 38/38 and it feels like too much. I'm getting bump steer that I didn't get before and I can feel every spot on the road. I'm thinking about trying 34/34.

meliaant
38/36 seems to be perfect so far If you ever catch on fire, try to avoid looking in a mirror, because I bet that will really throw you into a panic.

TimGinCentralNJ
P.s. My 215/45/17 General Exclaim UHPs had the weakest sidewall I've ever driven on (they are 18 pounds each, the lightest streetable tire in 215/45/17). I had them at 38-40 PSI all around but I definitely had to dial-in to find the right amount of steering response, subjective handling feel, and ride comfort. I suspected that about those tires. I feel the same way about my Falken Ziex 512's (non-reinforced) which I run at 36F/38R which helps a little. Of course running my tires at a higher pressure like this tends to set-off the already jittery ABS over even the slightest of rough roads. Everything's a trade-off I guess Tim
UniqueTII
I'm getting my LGT aligned tomorrow and I just got my Conti's put on last Friday. They were set at 34 but that seems too soft to me. I'll bump them up to 40/38 when I take the car out of the garage tomorrow.
BoozeRS05
215/45/17 ContiExtremeContacts, set at 40f/38r.. I have 225/40/18 ContiExtemeContacts too, which are set at 40/38 after they started to wear on the shoulders at 37f/35r..
