Interesting thing I learned tonight

So I was checking, adjusting, and lubing the brakes tonight on my car and noticed the front calipers had Tokico stamped on them. The same company that makes the calipers for my motorcycle (2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200S). In doing some research, Tokico is owned by Hitachi. The same company that makes the cut off saw I'm looking at buying.

 

I also noticed the struts(front and back) are made by KYB.

 

Interesting...

I remember looking at the serpentine belt in my car when i first got it and thinking "Huh, that's funny that Mitsubishi makes the belt in this thing .. oh wait, that says Mitsuboshi.."

aww man I thought it was Mitsubishi too...what the heck is a Mitsuboshi?
