AKLGT
There's been a lot of talk about it, and a few people have come up with their versions of other site's logos. So, let's see what skills you guys have and come up with our own logo, not just "LegacyGT.com". Target size would be no wider than 6" or no higher than 5". So, post up what you got (please keep the image sizes posted to 800x600 or less). If it looks good, I'll print them for $5 a pair mailed to the US (add another $1 to Canada) so long as it fits in a normal envelope. I'll leave this open for a couple weeks and close it 10/27. I'll print up some and if people want some, there you go (warning, will be gone first week of Nov). Have fun! Looking forward to seeing your skillz! THIS THREAD IS FOR DESIGN SUBMISSIONS. PLEASE KEEP YOUR POSTS TO THAT AND LEAVE OUT THE OFF TOPIC CHATTER. THANK YOU. Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!!
DarkLegacy
The wheels are turning for basic visual concept... thinking of going with car+lgt.com... I am trying to feel out the basic body lines by drawing them and see where it takes me... Here is a pic
Habitual Line Stepper
Found this on a search....i think somebody with some talent could make this a nice decal... http://fc85.deviantart.com/fs32/f/2008/222/5/e/Black_and_White_by_subLGTaru.jpg OR http://fc90.deviantart.com/fs18/f/2007/145/3/5/Legacy_Wagon_by_JGDA9RS.jpg "I for one do not doubt you, dude. katalyst
my photoshop skills are mad n00b-ish haha but had the afternoon off so i did a hack job with ms paint to create this logo. it's really basic but i kinda like it. i just combined the subaru WRT logo with the legacy logo. prob not everyone's taste but thought i'd throw in what i can. also i feel like the "m" on .com looks a little funny for some reason, but feel free to edit if you guys want. http://photos-e.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-snc1/v346/96/59/527000261/n527000261_4435468_3328.jpg i was thinking maybe a silver logo with this design might look alright

vr4Legacy
ministi... I spent about 30 mins trying to do what you did in probably 5..... I like the idea. Could you possible use the top profile of the car and make the botton the letters??? if that makes sense. Kinda cut a straight line from bumperline to bumperline and put LegacyGT.com there. That would be easy to switch for both sides too. I want this on my rear extra glass on windows (as it seems alot others do too) Also the shading looks cool, but I'm guessing this will be Monochrome. AKLGT..... I assume this will be a decal w/o any plastic around it? I know you said die cut, is that what that means? noob to the lingo. OK.... Now that you did the hard part... here's what I was thinking.... http://www.thehyetts.com/subaru/images/f999y-edit.jpg or here is what I would like to see..... white logo on tinted windo http://www.thehyetts.com/subaru/images/f999y-edit2.jpg
vr4Legacy
Here is a couple things I thought of with the front profile. (thanks again to whomever I stole those from ) http://www.thehyetts.com/subaru/images/LGT%20Sticker%201.jpghttp://www.thehyetts.com/subaru/images/LGT%20Sticker%202.jpg Of course these are just ROUGH ideas, someone else would need to refine them. Not sure if the location of the lettering would be doable on a sticker, I guess that would depend on the size...
dudeondacouch
I'm no expert, but why add silhouettes or body lines to the sticker at all? If it's going ON THE CAR, then those lines are already spoken for. I think the outlines make it too busy. My vote goes for all text. (Perhaps with a bit of flair...) MS Paint hackjob follows: (someone with more skillz can change the font to the proper style and perhaps thicken the "GT" lines a bit.)
vr4Legacy
LGT-NY..... something like this???? Again these are rough ideas.... I'm waiting for someone with photoshop skills to put mine to shame...... http://www.thehyetts.com/subaru/images/LGT%20Sticker%204.jpghttp://www.thehyetts.com/subaru/images/LGT%20Sticker%203.jpg
Guest LGT-NY
How about this gem?!?!? Srsly though, I just did this quick in paint so that someone who is not retarded could see what I was getting at. http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb93/bpotts1/LGT20Sticker203.jpg
leggtnut
how about something like this (I know it's extreamly ruff, but only have mspaint at my disposal right now) Ben (2014 Outback SAP w/ eyesite, 2014 Tribeca Limited, 2006 LGT limited sedan) Subaru Ambassador PNW
MiniStiGuy
Here is another somewhat quick one. took about 45 minutes to go through this one... I think its to big but we can always cut these down to smaller sections of the car. http://i38.tinypic.com/an0e21.jpg OEM HID's Rx330 Retro

Soda Popinski
Here's my take: simple design. Keep it simple. The stickers will be 1 color. The background would be cut out, leaving just the lettering. Here's an example: http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u148/cherrybloom203/legacy%20gt/LEGACYGT-sticker02.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u148/cherrybloom203/legacy%20gt/LEGACYGT-sticker03.jpg
Soda Popinski
how about this font? About the wheels being open: keep in mind it's a sticker. You don't want too much detail. Imagine trying to die cut that thing. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u148/cherrybloom203/LEGACYGT-sticker04.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u148/cherrybloom203/LEGACYGT-sticker05.jpg

Guest LGT-NY
Yeah, combine those and use this font. I think that would be sick. http://photos-261.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-snc1/v346/96/59/527000261/n527000261_4464756_8664.jpg made the revisions that were suggested, i tried to overlay one of the cars that ministiguy made but it just looked weird so i kept it out and left it basic with just the logo and lettering. BigInALegacy
Okay, behold my masterpieces! MS Paint exclusives baby!! Seriously, these are obviously just conceptual. The first is I think what people are talking about with a head on view, obviously polished up QUITE a bit. Remove the black block and make just a black outline of the car, more like the second picture I posted. The second is just something I was screwing around with. Just another idea if someone wanted to mess around with it and make it look better. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb158/chrisgemail/lgtsticker.jpg
BigInALegacy
Another mock up of the second... to satisfy the wagon peeps. Cut the roofline so no differentiation. Obviously the text is blurred from me blowing it up in Paint, but if someone wants to polish it up, feel free. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb158/chrisgemail/lgtsticker2.jpg
