Jcb890 Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Has anyone on here used skinnier 16" wheels for their winter wheels with some higher sidewall tires? This way, I could get a skinnier tire and more sidewall to make it the same diameter as 17's with the crappy RE92s on them. Just seeing if people have done this before and what options I have. rao Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Yes, it is the brakes. A couple of people have swapped Outback XT brakes for the winter so that they could fit 16" wheels.
