Long Island Legacy Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Okay So I was wondering what kind of coilovers are the ICY/Phoenix Spec.B using in there cars. I know there was a thread with a ton of info on the setup and the GOTO Racing car but i cant seem to find it at all it was like a wrx vs legacy rear suspension comparison.
Underdog Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to race in the Koni GrandAm Challenge, all cars must be outfitted with Koni Sport Shocks. The same shocks that are available to you and me. The Crimson Dynamo

The same shocks that are available to you and me. As of 1/01/2009 States in the rules. think it less prize moeny if a team wins and is not on Koni's. Will Koni devolp a indpened shock for the Legacy and not just the insert.

It's money better spent on the internals of the damper.
boxkita Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 bumping an ancient thread. The specb used custom 3-way AST coilovers. At the time, they were $8000/pair. The previous year wagon used JRZ coilovers which you can still buy. The refresh was ~$3k. Build my car Boxkita Track days
