dbrunone Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 So I just got this AccessTuner Race jibjab, and all I want to do is be able to datalog through the AP V2 CAN cable. But I can't get my laptop to see that it's plugged into the car/dongle. It looks like it can't find the driver to the dongle, and the Data Logging option in the menu of AccessTuner Race is greyed out. Anyone had any luck with getting this to work? My AP and dongle firmwares are all updated.
Infamous1 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Are you trying to log a vendor's protune/OTS map?
dbrunone Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 yeah trying to log a TDC protune map....apparently you cant do that according to cobb forums....so gay
Scooby2.5 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Use romraider www.romraider.com and this cable http://www.autonostics.com/product.php?productid=2&cat=0&page=1&featured to log your TDC map
kevkel33leg05 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Here you go you can use your v2 cable... http://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums/...ad.php?t=36743
Scooby2.5 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Ecuexplorer is not a very good program number one, number two alot of people could not get it to run even when HACKED by Cobb. ATR probably will log pretty well but only Cobb OTS maps that you have converted to ATR. Romraider is a great logging software and the cable I showed the link to is only 16 bucks.
kevkel33leg05 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 and all I want to do is be able to datalog through the AP V2 CAN cable. Just giving options
dbrunone Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 yeah i tried ecuexplorer with the cobb hack...completely worthless....wont work most of the time, and when it does, it only works halfway right
