RE: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95463

Say for what ever reason this completely fixes the stutter problem...

Would someone that has stutter even with an AP stage 1 installed benefit from unmarrying the AP and getting this factory update and then re-installing the AP flash or does the AP totally wipe out all information from the factory flash and start from scratch?

Reason I ask is that I have a service appointment this weekend.

they did this with 2005-06 models as well. Released a reflash to fix the stutter... stutter returns several hundred miles later anyways

Myself, and a few tuners are starting to think it is physical driveline issues and no amount of tuning can fix that

You interest me, mwiener. Hate to hijack a thread, but could you tell us more about your thinking on this? If there's another direction I might look to cure my stutter, I'd love to try.

Thanks

we're pretty sure it's just driveline slack that builds up a resonance that feels like stutter.

biggest giveaway is the ability to get stutter under engien braking as well as acceleration.

we have no feasible ideas to remedy it though
