hrmm.. well, if we're talking realistically.. I'd keep the lgt for a daily driver, get a GMC Denali Sierra, fix up my 4 door 57 belair, a 69 camaro RS/SS, and then I'd get something fun like a ferrari of some kind.. I dunno, I'd have to go look..

LGT wagon - everyday car

Porsche 997 turbo - weekend toy

Lotus Elise (or Porsche Cayman) - autox/track toy

Jeep Wrangler (diesel) - off-roader

Would need one more with 6 people capacity and this is an issue - no fun cars in this catagory. Maybe R-class AMG, but it comes with a slushbox which is no go. Perhaps converted to manual. Maybe lowered and turbocharged Tribeca w/6spd swap?

It's nice to dream sometimes.

Oh man, this is such a tough dilemma! I'd want these toys in my stable:

Porsche 997 Turbo, 6spd man.

Bimmer M3 or M5, SMG

Ferrari F430 Scuderia, F1 paddle

Porsche Cayenne GTS, A/T

leave the last spot open for the wife or next latest and greatest vehicle to hit the mkt.

Pie in the sky list:

McLaren F1

Ferrari 288GTO

http://rbhsite.com/2003-misc/Ferrari%2084-288-GTO.jpg

Aston Martin Rapide

Modified Porsche Cayman with 3.8 liter engine. (maybe a Boxster instead, considering all the preceding are coupes... change it up a bit)

And a "swiss army knife" utilitarian vehicle. A ruggedized H3T, or Landie Defender, or something. Not huge, but very versatile, and can pull a trailer, if necessary.

One foot on the ground list:

1: Infiniti M45, with the option to revise that to an M50 VVEL upgrade, or a sport sedan version of the Hyundai Genesis V8, if any ever shows, or a Caddy CTS. Something for mileage and arriving in just a bit of style. Would consider Legacy S402, but we don't get it, and so why not cruise with V8 smoothness, and more room and amenities, and leave the sportier fun for other cars in the list.

http://www.dubdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/d3ca1.jpgin red with better wheels.

1 Alternate: a Jag XJ I6 or V12 sedan, fully brought up to modern spec. (a bit of a classy jag restomod.) This would replace and serve the same purpose as a modern sedan, so that is why I list it as an alternate.

http://www.jaguar-xj8.com/68-73-Jaguar-XJ6-Series1.jpg

2: fun daily driver/commuter coupe. Maybe G37 6-speed, or maybe something smaller. Perhaps upcoming Subaru/Toyota coupe. RWD or AWD, IRS, and a stick are a must.

3: Weekend warrior. Porsche Cayman or Boxster. Lightweight, pure, and FUN.

4: a Classic. I have been admiring a post-citroen-era Maserati Merak SS lately. Classic italian mid-engine, more affordable, and more attainable than a classic ferrari. A bit more unique looking than 308-series Ferrari. Could also go British, though...

5: Motorcycle. accessorized (I believe the inside term is "farkled") BMW R1200S.

First would be a Muscle car

Depending on availablity

70/71 Hemi Cuda convertible

http://www.fhautomotive.com/images/71%20Cuda%20CV%2000.jpg

68 Shelby Mustang GT500KR convertible

69 Trans Am convertible

http://www.oldcaronline.com/files/27600_1.jpg

Car#2 would be the daily Driver

08/09 Audi RS6 avant

http://themotorreport.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/2008-audi-rs6-themotorreport-10.jpg

Car#3 Still one of my favorite cars to drive 993 Turbo. Particularly I would want a Ruf Turbo R in arena red with black interior.

So one of these

In this color

Car#4 A rarity that never made it to the US that would make a good track car. Porsche 968 Turbo S

http://vista.pca.org/stl/968turbo.jpg

Car#5 Would be the car of the moment car. It would be the car that I either want that week, or would be changing often. So no particular car would be this choice.
