LzyKid4Life
Would you guys rally your legacy?? I know its more of a luxury car, compared to the wrx. But would any of you think aobut taking it off roading?
axis008
I probably wouldn't, as it's not built for rallying like the WRX. But if I had the chance, I'd love to practice four-wheel drifting in the rain or snow in an empty parking lot... -ben

ih8vtec13
parkinglot drifting is about as offroad as I get on need to do something that will almpst deffinatly scratch my paint. I bought my Legacy because of the Subaru rally heritage and the WRX was a bit too small and not enough luxo feel.no rocks and dirt in my future. HeapMalloc
The GT is the current daily driver, so no. If I had lots of cash and could use it as a project car then maybe, but I currently have different cars in mind for a project car.

Opie
Rally? Nope, not my Legacy....I have this for my off-road excursions: http://www.subaruchallenge.com/Wills/Monster/R1.JPG http://www.planetarydomination.com/Rally/Media/111304/DSC00012.JPG Although before the Impreza got built for rally-x duties I used to rally-x a Legacy Turbo: http://www.subaruchallenge.com/Wills/Previous/rallyx2.jpg
axis008
Nice cars Opie! I think it would be neat if they made a Legacy Outback sedan/wagon rally car. -ben
rallispec
i'd be tempted to try it. I took my old car (nissan sentra se-r) off road a couple times and it was always fun. I'm sure haveing AWD and more HP can only make it better

SUBE555
You guys would think I'm crazy again today! Get ya'll some more pics on sunday of my car, what I did today. Was checking out some new roads for a project for this spring in SW Wisco and the winter traction additives are definitely on the roads (gravel, sand, you name it, whatever they drop on it.) The car got uberdirty, but it was hellafun! The black WRX that was following me was black no more. It was a riot, had one hell of a lot of fun. Was just itching for a nice 40deg day like today was for nearly completely snow/ice free roads (just behind some big bluffs which were accounted for.) Like I said, pix tomorrow. Xenonk
I would rally the older GT (more ground clearance), but not the current version one. My car doesnt have to go offroad to look like that, DC streets filled with salt and other mush-like debris makes the car look like it went through a rally of whip cream and salt. Great Pics! Let us know when you get a front-half steel 3/16" ga. skid plate on the car. Keefe Keefe
