parkinglot drifting is about as offroad as I get on need to do something that will almpst deffinatly scratch my paint. I bought my Legacy because of the Subaru rally heritage and the WRX was a bit too small and not enough luxo feel.no rocks and dirt in my future.

Although before the Impreza got built for rally-x duties I used to rally-x a Legacy Turbo:

I figured I'd throw that in there for you Franz. I can even find you in the picture, but you're not in the hot seat. ;) I figured it was your rallying experience. :p

Yep and I got some experience in the gravel, but not as much as you and some of the others. :D

  • 2 weeks later...

You guys would think I'm crazy again today! Get ya'll some more pics on sunday of my car, what I did today. :D Was checking out some new roads for a project for this spring in SW Wisco and the winter traction additives are definitely on the roads (gravel, sand, you name it, whatever they drop on it.) The car got uberdirty, but it was hellafun! The black WRX that was following me was black no more. :p

It was a riot, had one hell of a lot of fun. Was just itching for a nice 40deg day like today was for nearly completely snow/ice free roads (just behind some big bluffs which were accounted for.)

Like I said, pix tomorrow. :)

I would rally the older GT (more ground clearance), but not the current version one. My car doesnt have to go offroad to look like that, DC streets filled with salt and other mush-like debris makes the car look like it went through a rally of whip cream and salt.

Great Pics! Let us know when you get a front-half steel 3/16" ga. skid plate on the car.
