Vsick
Finally got the Vag-Com cable and did two quick pulls today. Hopefully I did it correctly. Let me know if the logs are any good. Running catless up and dp and x02 mid+Ypipes AVO panel filter Cobb OTS ACN Stg2 map Pretty much what I hope to determine from this is whether or not a pro tune will produce more power. Let me know if I need to do a couple more runs. http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/romraiderlogWOT3rdRL1pdf.pdf (3rd gear 2k-RL) http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/romraiderlogWOT3rdRL2.pdf (3rd gear 2k-RL) http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/romraiderlogWOT4thGear1.pdf(4th gear 2k-4k) http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/romraiderlogWOT4thGear2.pdf (4th gear 2k-4k)
Infamous1
Are you going WOT? The accelerator pedal says no, your MRP recorded is also indicating this.
Vsick
Sorry about that....updated logs with WOT runs. thanks for helping out infamous!
Infamous1
There is no rpm listed, however I can report that you are egistering knock under WOT in the first log but not in the the second.. However you should log Throttle Opening Angle (%) in the future to insure you are truley getting full throttle. Also you should download the learning view program to log any stored knock (FLKC) it seems you had a tad bit in the low rpm/load region.
Vsick
I will do it again hopefully tonight. Will add RPM, Throttle Opening Angle %. When using the learning view program...what do I do after connecting to the ECU? Do a screen shot after I finish logging with Rom Raider? Screenshot at Idle? I need to make a idiot's walk through after I finish this. Thanks again.
TPLGT
The car does not need to be running when taking a LV snap shot. You can redord it to an excel file via one of the buttons on the LV tool. I would log the following: Engine Speed (rpm) Engine Load (Direct)* (g/rev) Ignition Timing (degrees) Knock Correction (degrees) Manifold Rel. Pressure (Corrected) (psi) Mass Air Flow (g/s) Primary Wastegate Duty Cycle (%) Throttle Opening Angle (%) These are from Infamous. GL w/ the pulls. Rehab is for quitters. But substitute KC fo FBKC since Cobb doesn't smooth out the dynamic Advance tabe.

Vsick
Round 3 Fight!: I didn't convert to PDF this time, I figure infamous can do some cool things with my unformatted numbers. Let me know if I should convert to PDF for easier viewing. http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/LearningView_8-1-200815606PM.csv http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/LearningView_8-1-200813558PM.csv http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/romraiderlog_20080801_161313.csv http://jwliu1.googlepages.com/romraiderlog_20080801_162014.csv I posted two learning view links. One was before I started driving. The second one is after I did my pulls, both at idle. The second two are both 3rd gear pulls from 2k-redline. Let me know if I am missing anything...hopefully I did it right this time.

You can log just total timing. Also the learning tool really only needs to be run once. The trims most likely won't change after a coulpe of runs as they are long term trims and learned knock. I am not on my laptop right now so I cannot plot any charts or anything for you. But I can tell you that you have a very consistant knock at 2700rpms. In both logs you are pulling timing at this point when attempting to run 13.5 degrees of timing. Really not much you can do about it with the AP and the OTS map. But it isn't anything dangerous. Infamous1
Oh and your learning view tells me you drive hard and are experiencing a bit of knock after aggressive shifts.

FWIW I bot a PDX map a few months ago and am quite happy. $150 and they give you several maps...they have 'updated' it several times for me too due to some issues I had...very sweet. Vsick
You guys are quick. Infamous, I'll log total next time...seriously will make a walk through with screen shots when I get this done. Is it possible to tell how much torque and whp I have with this map? Anyway I can tell how much a protune will improve the car from these logs? Actually, I plan on getting a tune at GST on monday anyway. I'll post results after. My plan on monday is to run this current map on the dyno to see how much I am putting out. Install a ebcs + pro tune ...compare I'm surprised it says I drive hard. I swear I don't....still getting 21mpg to prove it I am only getting one map with this tune. TPLGT, Were your additional maps geared mainly towards fuel economy, valet, theft etc? Not sure if additional maps will benefit me as I don't see my self re-flashing the car....unless I start autocrossing it (maybe further down the road?). TPLGT
YEs, the maps were allof those. Get the protune...no need for the PDX maps then. GL, post dyno charts. Rehab is for quitters.

Anyway I can tell how much a protune will improve the car from these logs? You should have quite the improvement, as you can see your power is down a bit. The weight I have is most likely wrong but it gives you a ball park idea. The blue and red is the second log.
Vsick
Thanks for the plot..yeah that does look low..how does my boost look btw? no leaks or anything? not sure if one can even tell from the log.
Infamous1
Your boost looks fine, I really don't see any issue. Small leaks would not should any signs in datalogs.
