Thats insane horsepower I remember being at a local car show, and someone with massive power in a super heavily modded 60-era muscle car doing a wheel stand as they pulled out and drove up the road. With the biggest supercharger procharger makes. It has a dry ice box in the back seat that the air goes through before entering the engine. made 1732rwhp on 93 octane. It won the street car challenge at the track a couple times, he had to detune it to run on drag radials and these are wide ass radials(its tubbed) to 1300rwhp and it went a 8.2. blackfang Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 every track is different. i'm not talking times, as in absolute times. rather it was a comparison. the sti-ed wrx was murdering them. that's all i meant. my track was uphill at the end, and was a converted parkling lot. i brought up reaction times to show that they werent exactly noobs. i konw it has no bearing on the ET but i went there the first time and my reaction times were in the 1.xxx . they're decently experienced, is all im trying to say here. 05GT Guru Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 The best i ever got my 2000 to run was a 11.47. But then again i was only at 420-430rwhp. But i dont consider a WS6 to be a sleeper, its a sport car, i call a sleeper something that wasnt fast at all that now is but doesnt show it. Most sleepers dont have drag radials on them its a dead give away. Like this early 90 laser i raced the other day, it had what looked like a stock tip, it had rust, faded paint job, bad rims and beat my bike from a roll race by 1-2 cars. Now the engines been redone(usually each year he freshens it up due to the amount of racing and the fact it is a daily driver) for this year so we will see. MightyMouse is what he goes by, also made the cover of GMHTP in 2006. He also has a Typhoon that he drives when his car is under the knife, otherwise he drives his TA. Last year he drove from Richmond, Va to Memphis Tennessee and raced and won the LS1Tech King of the Street class, then drove it back home. I would drive the car to work often and cruises like that but i wouldnt drive it everywhere. Im assuming hes the guy with the mightmouse picture on his avatar.
