Exhaust, Intake, Pulleys...What Next?

Recommended Posts

Tires. HPS or similar pads. Rear sway bar.

BTW what size wheels are you running?

If you feel like being the guinea pig, Plasma plugs. $100/set.

After I get thru Family meet on the 4th and a daughters wedding on the 5th. I will be taking the plunge for my 07, which is due for a plug change. If I like, I'll jump for a set for the 97.

Not sure if a throttle body spacer will do much for you. You can search, both here and NASIOC.

Have fun

I've heard that the Plasma plugs are just a gimmick...no experience but thats what I've heard. I would just suggest a good set of NGK Iridums for plugs.

Also, +1 to the sway bars and brakes. I did a set of Whitelines on my '02 Leg GT and loved the change. I would include a set of braided SS brake lines in the brake upgrade as well.

My .02...

Does anyone have any aftermarket sway bars that come into contact with headers? Do the sway bars even come close to hitting the headers?

You mean that don't hit, don't you?

Rallitek and Cusco and also Whiteline i believe all make front and rear sway bars for the NA models. Although as previously stated rear sways for the GT will fit too.

Just tighten to spec and you'll have no problems.

Only issue I've noticed from threads is clunking in rear, but was fixed when bolts were tightened properly.

Enjoy, you'll have a much better handling vehicle once your sways are installed.
