f1anatic
I suggest you research the issue more in depth. But a quick answer: you may keep it on.
Break Beat Zen
according to Cobb They only intake compatible with the Cobb off the shelf maps is the Cobb SF intake. Other intakes would need a custom tune to maximize their potential and to keep your MAF sensor happy.
dr_sharp
Cobb has done testing with the SPT intake and they do not recommend it at all. IMO, they tested it incorrectly but you can make your own informed decision by searching over at the Cobb forums... there's a nice pdf write-up detailing the testing they did along with a thread in which I questioned the validity of the results. lol
dr_sharp
http://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32547&highlight=spt+intake I would like more people to read this and opine on the issue lol
Richard B.
there are naysayers who have 00 experience then there are users with no problems at all. tuned as well. the only clear answer i will say is... ask the tuner. it can be done because it is being done. it's not impossible. a lot of people talk soo much it sounds like they are farting but have no experience what so ever and are only spewing hearsay.
