dannyboy7
I recently changed the wifeys winter wheels back over to the summer tires, and noticed that the front pads are getting a little thin. What are some good pads you guys are running? Just stock? I like the fact that I get no visible brake dust with the stockers. thanks in advance
magnetic1
The Hawk HPS and Performance Ceramics are very popular. HPS is more aggressive, but the PC has no dust! fonts
I'm running HPS and love them. Much nicer feel than OEM and are pretty reasonable price wise.
spect2k
I only have 8K miles on the car, but I am not planning on letting these pads wear thin before I replace them with Hawk HPS
HangKen
Yea, stock brake pads are.......
spect2k
^^ yea. The only problem is the cost of swapping out to new pads. Even with doing the work yourself, the pads are still $150. Since I will do them sooner than later (+/- 10K miles), I won't need rotor work, but it is still hard to justify the $150 expense for the pads considering that they don't drastically decrease stopping distance (regardless of how bad the stock pads are feel wise).
