I called them yesterday asking why they didn't call. Well according to them they did, and they also left a voicemail. YEAH RIGHT A-HOLES.. So I asked what's up with the process, but unfortunately the adjustor was not in his office. The lady I talked to said she just left him a message and would definitely call today, but hey, it's 8PM already, and I didn't get shit. ... ... I was in torrance on a date, just minding my own business. I was at an intersection, that had like 5 or 6 lanes. I was on the 2nd to right lane, cuz the very right lane was right turn only. so I pass the intersection, and now i'm in the very right lane, and this guy just side swipes my car. I get out, and check at the damage....sonofabitch... now my two doors are dented like no other.. it's so damn ulgy now!!! so here's another dailogue for ya'll I say "are you ok?" "yes" "ok well.. you know you're at fault right?" "no" "are you serious?" "yes, you hit me, I didn't hit you" "sir, I was in the far right lane, how could I hit YOU? you merged into my lane and hit me!" "no no, you hit me, you were in MY lane" "so you're gonna deny it then?" "yes" "fine, i'm calling the cops" ....cops decided to tell me "yea, well, there's no police in your area, so if you want a report, even though you really don't need it, you're gonna be out there for a few hours." ok thx. for nothing now this guy that hit me was in an 04 cadillac CTS, he was an old japanese guy in his maybe 70s. so I lecture him about his age, and his morals, and his ethics.. etc etc for like 20 minutes trying to talk some sense into him. Even while he was writing my info I was just standing there saying "... LYIN through your teeth.. just lying! trying to rip of a kid who's not even a third of your age... lyin to my face" so then he finally has the balls to come up to me and say.. "ok.. just.. just get an estimate and give me a call, I'll I'll.. I'll take care of it." "AHA! so you do admit fault right!?" "uh.. no I didn't say that... but.. I'll take care of it.. yes my fault" "ok thank you sir, thank you for being honest" "you and I are both asian so,.. I'll be honest.. i appologize." "thank you sir, drive safe, and have a good night" the end. so now my car looks like ass for more dents and scratches.. it looks so bad that I feel embarassed to drive now.. this sucks cuz I decided to go stage 2, and now the upgrade evens out with all these dents and scratches...oh and a speeding ticket on the way to the yimisport meet - 80+ and unsafe lane change. what a bad week.. or two. lawl Posted May 11, 2008 Share Posted May 11, 2008 this is the moral of the story: stay away from asian drivers. my sister has put a dent on every single car in our my family. i am very hesitant to drive my leggy back to LA because they still let her drive. im no angel myself but im well above the curve as far as the asian drivers i've seen in LA. also: riding a motorcycle in an area with a dense asian driving population is suicide. car for sale. Seems to me korean ladies have more power in the family than anyone else. For example, a friend of mine tells me he has to go home because his mom called for him and i was trying to convince him to stay for one more cigg break. He was like "no, you don't understand...." haha Anyways, i'm sure this bad luck will end sometime. subienubie Posted May 13, 2008 Share Posted May 13, 2008 getting a deal and pocketing the rest sounds good, but the quality might not be up to par. then again, you can go to the most expensive paint shop in the world and they may do a crap-tastic job just go with the larger turbo and paint the car flat black ala rob and big's murdered out tahoe/yukon lol! you'll be going so fast, they won't even be able to see the dents!
