hagao
hey guys, im new to the board...i actually currently do not own a lgt YET but i am just trying to do some research about this car, specifically about the hipposleek body kit...maybe i am posting it in the wrong part of the forum but i was just wondering about the fitment of this kit on the usdm lgt... after reading numerous posts about the front beam on the usdm wont fit a jdm front bumper, i assume that i will need to do something about that for the hipposleek front bumper to fit correct? as for the sideskirts...i THINK it will fit perfectly and the rear bumper, will i need to do anything to make this kit fit? here is a link to the kit http://www.hipposleek.co.jp/legacy_bl/index.html sorry for if this has been covered numerous of times but i just want to get some facts straight...thanks in advance and please correct me if im wrong about anything that i said
axis008
For the front bumper, they say all you need is the JDM front bumper beam. For the rear bumper, I have no clue, and I'm interested in this as well. Anyways, welcome to the boards, and good luck! -ben

axis008
Nope, unless you want to be the first! I'm pretty sure it won't take a lot of work though. Try emailing Prodrive USA because at SEMA 2004 in Las Vegas, they had a Legacy outfitted with Japanese aero part company Corazon's aero kit. -ben

apexjapan
Well, according to one sheet I've got, a complete basic rear beam is about $45, which is practically less than the cost of all the misc. brackets for the rear. If you were going to do it, just order the rear bumper beam at the same time, at the point it should work just fine. (crosses fingers behind back). Xenonk
I doubt you would need the rear, but the front you'll need a smaller bumper beam.. or not run one at all (see FMIC installs from Highway-Dolphin FMIC kit on their JDM GT) Keefe Keefe

EnJaNir
Seeing how the us has mroe safety requirements for vehicles I would say I am 99% sure on all vehicles you will need both the front and rear rebar if you want jdm/ukdm bumpers. When I put jdm bumpers on my si I needed both rebars.
