<3 some GN goodness. Best thing to come out of GM during that period of time.

 

I think the Corvette of that era was much better, but at least they tried with the GNX. Looked good for a boxy car. And 200 hp was a lot back then, sadly. Now econo cars and SUVs have more power than that. :lol:

The GNX was listed at 276HP and and 360 torque...but those were underreported by GM real numbers were 300 and 420. And barely anything had numbers like that in 87.

It took a partnership with Lotus for the LT5 to beat those numbers in 1990, and one with Callaway to be able to beat those numbers in 1987 for the Corvette.

 

The GNX was one hell of a quick ride in that time.
