this is my 2nd ACT 6 puck to start slipping and 3rd overall

it was doing just fine until I went to the track yesterday....launch control set @ 5500....let off the clutch and then hit redline...try 2nd..redline...3rd...same:mad:

I guess finessing it in NYC traffic took its toll

what can you guys recommend to hold about 450wtq (>550 to the crank I'm guessing) and still be driven daily??

a vendor I spoke to said that the Exedy twin wont work in a Legacy...he's looking into a Carbonetic setup....

I really liked the driveability on the ACT 6 too man wtfffffffffff

still trying to source this clutch.....

Clutchmasters said they have push type units on the shelf but waiting 3-4 weeks for the accompanying flywheel....

waiting on Exedy to see what they can do...

not to rain on your parade, but his power is on a different level than the mighty 40BB. ;)

Yes I'm well aware having first hand experience with the GT30 car in question.

I'm still concerned as I will be hitting the E-town strip pretty soon.

You might want to check out Spec, I think they will make custom twin disc clutches, and I know they have a specific clutch for the Legacy. Maybe they will make you one. I have know idea what the cost would be, but I would atleast look into it.

You will be fine with the 6 puck and the amount of torque the 40BB puts out. My vf40 on 100oct puts out about 335lbs of torque and the ACT street disc holds just fine after and during my recent trip to Fontana Dragway out here.
