alaskajoel
Okay, so i've got a friend offering me a new MTX 10" 9500 Subwoofer for way cheap. The MTX Website says the mounting depth of this sub is 9-9 1/2 inches. I know it's a shot in the dark, but will this fit in the Wicked CAS box made for the sedans? Wicked CAS says it has .75 cu ft of volume on it's website which is within MTX's Specifications, but is it just too deep? I'd go off and buy a different box, but i hate losing the functionality of my trunk...
alaskajoel
Anyone have interior dimensions for this box?
SUPERBU
I have a pic somewhere of the actual measurement when we were building these. I'll look when I get home tonight. What I can say for now is I run a W6v2 sub that's 6.9" deep from mounting surface to the back of the magnet.
SUPERBU
Sorry for the delay. While the mold was in process I measured 10" from the mount ring to the back of the box. (Internal measurement) You will have to subtract a little for the final product because the glass is thicker.
alaskajoel
Hey thanks for your help! While close, i don't think i'll be able to fit my 9500 in there.
Nazar
We can modify the enclosure by molding in a 3/4" ring to the face to accommodate for depth. Let me know what you decide.
