Tommypenguin - time to try a hallman MBC, son. :)

As far as your fitament question - would you recirculate or dump to atmosphere? If you recirc, there will have to be some work done between the outlet of the EWG and the downpipe.

And TiAL for the effin win. 44mm wg and atmopheric bov.

I can't wait for the hallman to come in, all i've heard is rave reviews on it. I would be running VTA, love the sound.

not when u live in a "police state"

Are the EWG's dumped really that loud? I mean obviously if your WOT its going to be very noticable but so would a 3" exhaust without the EWG, but while cruising it hardly makes any noise right? or wrong?

I've used hallman mbcs on all of my turbo cars since the early/mid 90s. I wish I got paid for promoting them. :)

Absolutely yes. I had an open dump on one of my DSMs and it was GodAwful loud. I drove it like that for 3-4 days and had it plumbed back into the downpipe.

I have a synchronic EWG with my 20g. I had my EWG setup made for $50. I have a helix up and Flow shorty DP. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/153356.jpg

The pros for EWG I think is that my 7cm 20g holds 20psi for 3400 rpms to 7000 rpms. I'm making about 340whp on 91 octane cali pump. My boost is very stable to redline. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/05_LGT_Wagon_FP_20g_EWG1.jpg

There is no drop in the powerband.

Yes, they are loud:

Plenty more vids on YT, as well.;)

Thanks for the YT tip pal.;) But i had already listened to videos and such, wanted to know from someone who has it on their car. Like how someone said it opens at 15psi, useful information.

Yes this is how it looked with a vf40 and FMIC. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/190930.jpg

I was hitting 18.5 psi @2800 rpms and made 277whp on cali pump gas.
