tdoggydog
With - because without, you can't see the back of the car through the rearview mirror when backing up.
pathfin9
I'd go without. There are so many better options out there, esp. ones where you dont have to drill. IMO if you dont have to drill, thats good in case you want to change in the future. Much easier to take some sticky tape off, rather than fill some holes and paint. But to each his own. If you like the OEM spoiler, then get it installed, if not you have plenty of choices. -John
hack4875
No factory spoiler. If anything, just a small M3 style lip spoiler.

Domain
Meh, Its really all personal preference... I liked my '05 without, and I like my '08 with, though in hindsight while I like the look of the factory spoiler, I would much rather have one of the lip spoilers from the JDM market (unfortunately changing it now would be fairly costly). gocu33
how easy/hard is it to install an aftermarket lip spoiler? how much would everything cost?
lilrabbit129
I'm not a fan of the lip spoiler. I personally am spoiler-less right now, but on the previous car did have a spoiler. +1 on the seeing where the end of your car is, really helps parallel parking. planigan
I vote no. I was originally planning on getting an OBP with a spoiler, but the dealership offered me a great deal on a spoiler-less model that they had on the lot. Said they would install one, but I definitely ended up liking it better without the OEM spoiler. I do like the RavSpec STi knockoff though -- and I have one sitting in the garage waiting to install. Put it this way, if you get the OEM spoiler it will be very difficult to change your mind later. If you go without for now, you can always bolt one on -- with many more options -- if you feel the need to dress up the trunk a bit.
subieboyLGT05
Go w/out the spoilier...and u said u ordered it w/ it so get ur money from them cause it wasn't on there and spend it on something else... speeding_gaijin
IMO legacy is lacking without anything on the trunk. If not stock spoiler, add a lip one
GTTuner
i like mine Me too, I got mine after the fact already painted for 130 bucks. Couldn't pass that up. I had the "Bob Knoll" spoiler which was too subtle. (I purchased it directly from them, 300 bucks!!!!!.)

HangKen
Lip Spoilers are good if you don't have a 45 degree Driveway to get in to....
johnAWD
I'd pass on the OEM wing and if you decide down the road that you want something, get yourself a lip-type spoiler.
qikslvr
If the dealer owes you a spoiler, just have them put in a SPT short shifter or something else of equal value. Adding the pioler is easy enough; it getting it off and filling the holes that sucks. Let's kick this pig!
PeterJMC
I vote negative on the spoiler. My car came with the spoiler and I quickly found someone on the forum to trunk swap with. Go with a clean trunk or a lip spoiler.
alain_desforges
Mine came with the factory spoiler and it's still on there, but I must admit that the lip style one is very boss...

CTATV
i was thinking about it, how can he decide without some examples, post up some pics of your rides with assorted spoilers. be sure to say what kind you have... heres my 06 spec B with factory "wing" spoiler which I personally have liked since i started looking for an LGT http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/b3f1c6d4.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/IMG_0360.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/IMG_0380.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/IMG_0381.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/IMG_0384.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/IMG_0378.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/100_4432-1.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/fiidgett2/100_4431-1.jpg
Scooter
I vote 'NO SPOILER'. I just don't think it's a particularily good looking OEM spoiler... I think something slimmer and more elegant like the Mazda 6 spoiler is nicer, but I prefer lip spoilers myself. I definitely say start without the spoiler, and 6 months down the road if you decide you can't live without it you can always add it. If you get it now and change your mind latter you are hosed. (Didn't read thru the thread, but someone else pro'ly already said that.) Seek first to understand, then to be understood. In other words: SEARCH before you post!
