LNeilB
I just got my car back from the body shop, and they put a new grille in it. Less chrome, so I kind of like it. But what model is this from?
HansGT
looks like an outback grill.
Bdubs
Wonder what possessed them to put that grille in. Perhaps it was just laying around their shop?

DickDastardly00
Without a doubt, that is definitely an Outback grill. ♪Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds.♫ -Bob Marley, Redemption Song
LNeilB
I'll spend a day or two with it and decide if I want the original style put back in. I'm not nuts about chrome, so it might stay. Guest
^ What year is your Legacy? OB grill is to big to fit 05-07 Legacy, it fits with JDM SpecB bumper though.
c-lo
doesn't look like it's sitting flush to the bumper. especially in the corners. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos

That's an old outback grille, 05 and 06 models. How long have they had it for? I bet it is from a salvage shop or something like that. Get a proper grille mate. qikslvr
Here is where they probably got it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=015&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=250211482157&rd=1 I was looking for a used LGT grill to modify and came across this one. They have the same one listed in two different listings one for the LGT and one for the OB. What is different about the fit? Does this one not seat properly onto the lip of the bumper? Let's kick this pig!

whobaru
I like the set back mesh better because I think it looks kinda like the hood-scoop and the grill match. Especially like the RBS grill.
