CTATV Posted January 23, 2008 Author Share Posted January 23, 2008 cool thanks, I was looking for a used 2005 LGT but came across whats now my car on autotrader and decided for shits and giggles to call and find out the price since it was unlisted. Ended up getting it for a few thousand more than i would have paid for an LGT and it cant hurt to have the navi, bigger rims, and especially the different suspention, as well as a year newer than the 05s i was looking at. was one of those right place right time. Link showing 3000 in 2007; look at the caption in the top left picture Yeah, I tried finding an '07 when I bought mine, but no luck in CA. I was torn between the 07 and 08. I liked the rear on the 07, but much preferred the interior on the 08. I think the spec's are pretty popular cars, enough to almost sell out before years end, atleast here in CA. rabydanimal Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 I don't think people hated it, I just don't think the majority saw a cost benefit over the standard Legacy when it came out in '06. After being heavily discounted they were a great deal but at MSRP the additional cost over a standard Legacy vs what you got was ridiculous. In '07 this was alleviated somewhat with the addition of the 6spd. Now, in the used market, Spec Bs provide a great upgrade over the standard package for a marginal cost increase. For the original 10,000 more or whatever it was not so much but I fully admit I love having the Nav system, the red interior and the suspension upgrade without voiding any warranty stuff. I really like the look of the 18s too...
