99SUS SFD
Is there any easy way to tell if my Suby came with a block heater from the factory? I thought I read somewhere that it would've because I think it has the cold weather package. I checked under the hood real quick and didn't see a plug. Thanks. rao
There was never an official "cold weather package" There should be a plug in the front of the grill with a heavy gauge wire leading to one of the drain plugs on the block; you will see it from under the car if it is there. BAC5.2
It is if the car is old and the freeze plugs have rusted into place. I'm putting my block heater in on Sunday!
