ka24e @187,xxx miles, runs strong

Has all new brakes and rotors, gasket kit was done, new dizzy, plugs, wires, all new fluids including rear diff, new tires up front, decent in the rear

Has a slight hesitation at 2800rpm and you can hear the timing chain rattle at idle, but i think it may just need a different motor oil. If it does end up need a timing chain tensioner, screw that cause it's oil pressure driven and, not that i cant do it, but thats just wayyyy to much effort for me....

Plus when the motor pops....something else may go in :iam:

ill get better pics when i have a chance to clean it up

werd? i used to work at a nissan dealership

car body, frame, suspension, all straight as an arrow

chain does rattle, but only on start up...but on the ka24e, ive seen some with over 250k miles and half of those with the chain rattling and not becoming an issue. The upper chain guide issue only applies to the dohc's....but you can just take em out on those things before your chain eats it.

bottom line is im gonna run it and just keep the fluids changed until it pops, then swap it

anyone wanna throw up some bets on how many more miles shes got in her?
