Wanted to share a quick story

Recommended Posts

Was just reminiscing while looking at a few pics of my old LGT.........

Was thinking about the time one of the cart boys at my local country club stopped on his way by to pick up a member and asked me what kind of car I had. (the LGT was de-badged) I told him it was a Subaru Legacy GT. He said he he had checked it out many times in the parking lot and he thought it was cool. Considering that my LGT was one of the least expensive cars in the lot, I was flattered! I am not going to pretend that we have a bunch of supercars in the parking lot at my club, but we do have a few Vipers, a 996 or two, a few BMW 7 series, and an M5. In my mind those are pretty cool cars! For the cart boy to pick my LGT out of that crowd was pretty neat.

I sure miss the LGT!!!http://legacygt.com/forums/images/icons/icon9.gif These days, I am just another schmuck driving a Honda Accord V-6 AT. Life sucks........... well, at least until I get my supercharged Miata!

Have a good one guys / gals..........:)

Cart boys are very smart and always can pick out the best cars in the lot.

Hope you tipped him well!

Yes...I was a cart boy long ago.

Old guys in Cadillacs and Lincolns always tipped the best though. I think that was because their golf bags weighed about as much as I did!

Screw the miata, supercharge the accord, you will get a lot more power out of it. What year is the accord, I had a 99v6, always wanted to pick up the comptech supercharger for it, rode in my buddies accord after he did that and the cl-s head. That car hauled about as much nuts as any fwd car I've seen. I hope you already put a b & m tranny cooler on your accord auto, definitely a necessity for that tranny.

You are driving the hands-down best sleeper of all time! We have two of them, both with V6 badge removed. Great seats, good suspension, good mpg, and surprisingly quick - especially when the Squid thinks it's a 4.

Serious wheel spin in rain or snow, though.

I loved my accord to death, favorite car I've ever owned, I beat the crap out of it, modded the crap out of it, drove it till it had a 130k on it and sold it so I could get a car with a stick. The car ran so well though at its mileage, i had no doubt with good maintenance that car would have easily run to 300k w/o major repair. Wish I would have never would have sold it, now that I have the money I would have definitely done the cl-s swap and sueprcharger to that car. But at the time I was still in college. Oh well, definitely a great car accross the board. I love the new 2 doors, could see myself getting one next time I buy a car, they aren't that badly priced at all. I went and sat in one with the HFP kit, sick rims, 6 speed, sunroof, leather, everything for 28.5.
