BENCOB
Hello again Paul......All kidding aside I read/see you may have installed a new satellite radio and/or a different (from the 05) rear view mirror into/onto your 08, right? Was it all done correctly and properly grounded? I'm not an electrician but maybe your situation might have something to do with the wiring of the mentioned 1 or 2 items (if indeed they were installed)......peace
NSFW
I had that problem too, but it went away after I installed the shock sensor. I think the ECU tunes around it. I'm told that the 2009 models will add these stickers to the sun visors: http://artfiles.art.com/images/-/Shocker-Poster-C12009849.jpeg
fizxman
The fabric softener sheets trick really works - just be sure they are the anti-static cling sort. You could also try switching from polyester pants to denims...

ric37
I used to get shocked all the time from my cars. I found a anti-static spray at wal-mart....you can find it where the laundry soap is and stuff. Just spray it all over the inside of your car and you shouldnt get shocked anymore. This worked great for me plus it smells pretty nice. I usually spray it when Im washing my car so if I were you id spray it and let your car air out for a while. hope this helps =)
1-3-2-4
You need this and this was what I was talking about but I guess no one hear has ever heard of it.. I still can't find the site where one of the NABISCO members installed it, but now I have a picture of it. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=847727&highlight=shock+pad Found it! http://www.northursalia.com/modifications/interior/static/static.html
PeterJMC
This has solved almost all of my static shock problems during the winter. I used to get shocked on a daily basis entering and exiting my cars even if they did have leather seats... Resolution: It puts the lotion on its skin. If you don't put lotion on you actually make a nice static charge when your clothes rub against your dry flakey skin. Put lotion on your skin to make it baby smooth and moist. Plus it feels better too. Lotion is probably best to apply right after a shower to lock in all that good moisture.

MAINIAC SPEC B
Your problem comes from all the friction you generate from rubbing your monkey causes an excess of static electricity. If you can`t control yourself have someone else rub it for you. Than that person doing the rubbing gets the shock and you don`t.
