moshulu
Can someone explain the meaning of those graphs that show up inside the tachometer dial on my 3.0R? What are the axes? I assume the x-axis is throttle setting (pedal displacement), but what is plotted on the y-axis? Why do the three curves (I, S, S#) break and plateau differently? Is it the highlighted AREA under the curve that measures something (power? torque?). Or is the whole display just techy-looking BS? moshulu
Underdog
I believe it is a map of throttle plate position (y-axis) versus the gas pedal position (x-axis). It is also probably just techy looking and not representative of the actual curves. The Crimson Dynamo
