Pako
I am assuming that the WHP of the Stock '08 Legacy GT Limited is less than the advertised 243HP. Does anyone know what the WHP is, stock? I have found lots of stock WHP for the non-GT Limited models, but haven't found any for the GT Limited.
NOTATURBO
I'm not 100% sure but if you take into acct a 25% drivetrain loss due to an automatic tranny, you'd net out to about 183 HP....I'd guess it's about 190whp for a manual...???
Carter
I consider my 08 as having 250 HP. Screw the SAE rules.
qikslvr
I think they say it has 243BHP (at the crank/flywheel) which will net ~185WHP for an auto and ~200WHP for a stick. You need to figure in a 24ish% loss to the auto tranny and a 18% loss for a manual to get the WHP. Let's kick this pig!
deimos
If MT prob 200-215whp and 215-235 wtrq given a number of dynos that have been posted. If AT prob 10-20 whp and trq less Stock 05s are generally around 200whp and 220wtrq. Basically the car produces at least 250-260hp and 270-280trq at the crank. Subie underrates many of their engines to keep the STi looking good.

sexylegacy
My 05 sedan baselined at 190WHP before its dyno tune. This is from Jeff Perrin himself who owned the car before me. Of course, that is not an 08, but it will be similar, no question.
qikslvr
This thread is speculation, hear-say and BS until someone shows a dyno print... It would still be BS because another 20 people would complain that the dyno lied and it's wrong too! Let's kick this pig!
tdoggydog
I consider my 08 as having 250 HP. Screw the SAE rules. My 08 has 425 horsepower. I just moved the numbers around.

The OP needs to search. the 08's wont be any different than the 05-07's.

Pako
I was just getting an idea of where these different stage mods will actually improve the HP of my '08 LGT so I know what I should start saving up for. Thanks for the info guys! Now I have to hurry up and wait for the goodies to be tired, tested, and proven successful so I can spend way more money than I should. DukeTrout
The spec.Bs are overweight pigs compared to the 5mt, 05 GT nonlimiteds. 2005 5mt GT non-limited = just over 3300 lbs 2007 LGT spec.B = 3600 lbs:( Ich bin echt viel netter, wenn ich nuechtern bin.
