This means meeting at the Hobby Lobby on S. 8th Street in the Springs at 10-11 AM depending on which route we decide to go. We drive up there, enjoy lunch together, and then hit a Casino or two. Those that just want to have lunch can, and those that want to stay and play for a while can. I am throwing out Labor Day Weekend, so the options are Saturday August 25th, or Saturday September 15th... The route will be fun, but nothing crazy. Route 2, The drive is actually shorter, but is rated as taking 2 hours, and looks pretty fun ... So, vote for the weekend, and the route. I drive 115 south to canyon all the time, and that drive is ok, I'm not sure about the route when it turns north. I know I LOVE hwy 24 after manitou, for about 15 miles! We could always do one route up there and another back, especially if this turns into a slumber party! Anyone have any connections for good hotel room rates out there? life in spin cycle.....
