slammie
Anyone know when a new version of the legacy sedan may be appearing (I know they just made some cosmetic changes to the current model)? Any news on what may change or, rather, what to expect?
KC05Leg
Seems like Subaru is on a two year cycle with most models..........so my guess would be 2009.
leggtnut
Subaru tends to have a 4 to 5 year between major re-designs and varring times between minor changes to the current designs. So we should be hearing something about the MY 09 or 10 in 08 or 09. RacingFish
09 Is the forester re-design. so im thinkin 2010
leggtnut
I was thinking 09 might be a possibility because if they start doing what they did for the impreza and release the new platform in all markets at the same time, then we might see it in 09. But if not, then most likely 2010. Ben (2014 Outback SAP w/ eyesite, 2014 Tribeca Limited, 2006 LGT limited sedan) Subaru Ambassador PNW

Penguin
Well if they WRX-ise it; the car will use the same motor, same trans, get bigger, ride softer, and roll like a pig. Count me out.
stewartg
The legacised the wrx, if they legacised the legacy, that would truly suck. I fear that is the trend though. My guess is we'll see a new version in MY10.
BernardP
2008 is the mid-cycle refresh. It is good for at least 2008 and 2009 model years. An all-new model in 2010 would give a 5-year total cycle and seems likely. Two years is good. It gives Subaru time to change their mind about feminizing their cars. I hope the new Impreza/WRX flops, as did the monster-nosed Tribeca, so that Subaru reconsiders their styling direction.
