When will we see a new Legacy model?

Recommended Posts

Subaru tends to have a 4 to 5 year between major re-designs and varring times between minor changes to the current designs. So we should be hearing something about the MY 09 or 10 in 08 or 09.

I was thinking 09 might be a possibility because if they start doing what they did for the impreza and release the new platform in all markets at the same time, then we might see it in 09. But if not, then most likely 2010.

2008 is the mid-cycle refresh. It is good for at least 2008 and 2009 model years. An all-new model in 2010 would give a 5-year total cycle and seems likely.

Two years is good. It gives Subaru time to change their mind about feminizing their cars. I hope the new Impreza/WRX flops, as did the monster-nosed Tribeca, so that Subaru reconsiders their styling direction.
