CarlJNgmail.com
35% all the way around with 3M Color-Stable. Non-Metallic so no reception interference and lifetime warranty against bubbling, cracking, peeling, and purpling. I'd post pics but I just had it done 2 days ago! CarlJNgmail.com
Oh and for those with wagons, question. Did your tint adhere to those little dots on your rear side and tailgate windows, or do you have a line the whole way around? And did it adhere cleanly to the "Symmetrical AWD" logo? psucaptainkickass
^ It won't I don't have a wagon, but all have that stuff. My tinter told me that after like three weeks, rub your finger around the dot matrix and it should tack down.

RudeMood
Got it done this morning and they did a quick wash on the car. Looks great I think. Going to look even better with my summer wheels on the car. Great reflectivity too. Not too dark. RudeMood
Those wheels look outstanding on DGM... what kind/color are those? Oh the tint is good, too Those are royal bronze rota tarmac 3's. My crappy winter wheels with horrendous oxydation. They are okay, I prefer my summer package. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2616/4022168941_59c025dea4_o.jpg
dr_sharp
Do you think its mostly from curb rash or just poor quality wheel? I'm really tempted to find that color of another wheel. lol

RudeMood
Do you think its mostly from curb rash or just poor quality wheel? I'm really tempted to find that color of another wheel. It's from endless amounts of salt, sand and overall winter conditions that destroyed the wheels. The wheels have zero curb rash. The anodized color just peels off with all of the road chemicals. I don't think these are meant to be all season wheels. I just use them as my winters though so I don't care. If you are looking to buy, use them as summer rims only. Looks like ceramic? __________________________________ Steve C. 2009 Legacy 2.5i Wagon Touring Package Satin White Pearl

If you are looking to buy, use them as summer rims only. Do you use any kind of wheel cleaner on them? Most sprays will eat right through the clear coat and eventually through the paint, especially on the lip if it's polished. You basically want to treat them like the paint on your car. Only reason I ask is because I've seen a lot of Tarmacs go through NE winters around here without that kind of damage.. also seen a lot of painted rims that showed very similar peeling (down to the primer) from repeatedly using chemical wheel spray to clean them.
