Got it done this morning and they did a quick wash on the car. Looks great I think. Going to look even better with my summer wheels on the car. Great reflectivity too. Not too dark. Excited!

Those wheels look outstanding on DGM... what kind/color are those?

Oh the tint is good, too :)

Those are royal bronze rota tarmac 3's. My crappy winter wheels with horrendous oxydation. They are okay, I prefer my summer package.

Do you think its mostly from curb rash or just poor quality wheel? I'm really tempted to find that color of another wheel.

It's from endless amounts of salt, sand and overall winter conditions that destroyed the wheels. The wheels have zero curb rash. The anodized color just peels off with all of the road chemicals. I don't think these are meant to be all season wheels. I just use them as my winters though so I don't care. If you are looking to buy, use them as summer rims only.

Love the look - just the right amount of darkness! What brand/type and percentage did you end up getting? Looks like ceramic?

Do you use any kind of wheel cleaner on them? Most sprays will eat right through the clear coat and eventually through the paint, especially on the lip if it's polished. You basically want to treat them like the paint on your car.

Only reason I ask is because I've seen a lot of Tarmacs go through NE winters around here without that kind of damage.. also seen a lot of painted rims that showed very similar peeling (down to the primer) from repeatedly using chemical wheel spray to clean them.
