Jonathan
Okay, so THIS week end is too close, and NEXT week end is also out... How about the w/e after the 25th/26th ? Instead of doing a typical "chain" resturant, we could try something better. Any interest in http://www.zebrasbistro.com near the intersection of Rt. 109 and Rt. 27 in Medfield ? Yeah, its certainly expensive, and we would obviously need reservations but good food is generally worth it.28 bux for a tiny portion of foofy crap, no thanks!Okay, Mr. Hawk... We dont have to eat expensive "foofy crap" if nobody wants it... Perhaps you might want to suggest something better ?
Andyjo
The mexican place in woburn's pretty good. There's another place called pinyatas (sp?) up in tewksbury, off of rt 38? i hear it's really good, and a good price.
LegacyGT2007
Why not skip the entire food thing find a place with some parking hangout and from there if people want to eat/drink we can go from there.

Jonathan
Why not skip the entire food thing find a place with some parking hangout and from there if people want to eat/drink we can go from there.Yeah. We could all meet up at the Stone Zoo http://www.stonezoo.org and wander around looking at all the animals instead. Safe, Fun, and educational... Nobody would guess that we were secretly putting together a meet just so we could hang out in their parking lot. Personally I still like the "twenty-eight bux for some foofy crap" idea (Ginger yellow fin Tuna) ... but thats just me. The challenge is in finding a middle ground ... something that appeals to everyone.
LegacyGT2007
Tough crowd, however your points are valid, just seems like everyone has different ideas on what to do. I am down for whatever! (except the zoo thing)
Garandman
Consider the Autocross at Devins, MA Sunday Sep 9? - All day event to come and go. - No charge if you don't run. $55 to autox, you need a helmet. - Lots of interesting cars and interested owners. - At least two Subarus running. - Equally inconvenient from all points of the compass. Jonathan
Since corralling everyone in to eating at a certain spot and time has proven to be so difficult, how about a meet at the Natick Mall food court ? Rt 9 or Mass Pike (I-90) Exit 13 to Speen Street, you cant miss this place. Lots of variety (Sushi, Cajun, Italian fast food, as well as some serious restaurants as well), and yet we can all hang together. http://www.natickmall.com We can all park up on the 3rd (top) level of the parking garage that is adjacent to the food court. I am thinking we should wait ~ a month or so ...they should be finished with the Neiman-Marcus / Nordstrom additions by then, and it might be fun to check out the new stores and stuff: Expansion Coming September 2007 Natick Mall has embarked a major expansion to include Massachusetts' first-ever Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, luxury boutiques, specialty stores, and sit-down restaurants. In addition, luxury condominium complexes will complement this development and position Natick Mall as New England's premier shopping and entertainment destination. For more on the expansion and a list of new store announcements, please refer to our Events page. Word of warning: The last time there was an Impreza meet there, the Mall security rent-a-cops and the Natick Police showed up and shooed us away, as we werent customers and they had problems with kids doing four wheel burn-outs and stuff... but we arent like that (we are older & more mature, right?), and besides we will be paying customers. http://www.natickcollection.com/Mallcoupons/natick_parking.pdf I am thinking the place to meet would be the third level of "Parking deck C" from which you can walk across a "pedestrian bridge" to the food court. Any interest in this ?
legacyB430
Lot's of meets over at Colt State Park in Bristol RI. Nice place, wide open grass fields, plus a beach area. Whenever I go there I see Mitsu meets or some other meet going on. No permit needed either. Just a thought. I would definatly be in If we met up at Colts State Park. I go to school in RI and always wanted to meet up with some fellow lgt owners.

I didnt go, but from what I was told some Park Ranger types shoed them outta the park for driving accross the fields or something... Perhaps this park isnt especially Subaru friendly. http://www.sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=74&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=
