BL5E
Ok here goes.... Mirrors approx $385 ea. Control switch assy $ 115 This is the price quoted by a local dealer, so there is a chance that it is more than the MSRP Yen price.
VtspecB
Thanks for the info!! Is that $385 the entire mirror assembly. i.e. shroud, 3 bolt mirror mount(to the door), turn signal, heating element, mirror glass, etc, etc... I sent an email to japanparts 2 days ago. I'll report back what they tell me. my vBGarage

rjundi
This is a terrible idea so I am thankful Subaru skipped it here. So now you have to get into car and then find a place to put your key fob and not forget its location. I despise things in my pockets while driving. laz
If you get the JDM mirrors remember that you have to swap the glass because they are backwards. Not worth it. X ---
VtspecB
Good point ... other wise objects are larger than they appear on the drivers side. my vBGarage

mutant 9
I totaly agree... Subaru needs to improve its technology in its entire lineup. The high end models like STI / WRX Spec B and 3.0R and Tribeca need to have keyless start, presets on seats, telescoping wheel, nav and high end audio not just a weak ass sub option. These are the things that will allow current owners a true upgrade path. These tech options are just as important as looks and power. Take a look at much of the advertising out there and you will see the importance of these new technologies. Subaru is way behind on these compaired to the Infiniti, Nissan, Acura and even Mazda. BL5E
Nope, JDM mirror glass is the normal type for both sides. Good point ... other wise objects are larger than they appear on the drivers side.
VtspecB
BL5E - I'm getting ready to pull the trigger. Can you just ease my fears that I will be getting everything I need. Do the part numbers for the LH and RH assemblies contain the entire mirror housing, glass, mount, etc..? Are they heated mirrors? Which turn signal version is it? This one pictured below which is USDM '08? http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=1568 Thanks again for providing these part numbers! my vBGarage

BL5E
I can't I'm afraid cuz I've never seen the parts in their boxes before. I was quoted this numbers & told that they were for the JDM folding mirrors. You should ask Japanparts for the complete description. My mirror turn signal lenses are clear with an amber bulb.
