SockMonkey
My 06 Outback XT. Currently running a vf52, (forgot to add) perrin TMIC, TBE, walbro 255, and STi FPR on lowered on LGT wagon struts&springs. Tuned by Tom at Wicked Performance in Manchester, NH. This weekend I have wrapped EL headers, wrapped uppipe, perrin inlet, COBB SF intake and a turbo blanket going on. And I'm wrapping the downpipe while its on the lift. Then I'll get a final tune.

Same shop doing both tunes? Hoping to see a comparison. pic thread build thread
xt2005bonbon
You should not drive too long with the COBB SF intake if you are not tuned for it. It will throw off your MAF big time and may as a result run lean and knock..
SockMonkey
Looks great! Are you doing a build thread? What about injectors? What wheels are those, and tire size? Same shop doing both tunes? Hoping to see a comparison. Thanks!! I've thought about a build thread, but I always forget pictures, though I plan on trying to make one I don't think I'll touch injectors at the moment. I know I leave a bit on the table, but it gives me something to work towards. I should be right around 300whp without em. (based on similar setups) Those are 07 Spec.B wheels. They are 18x7.5 and I am running 225/40/18 Falken Azenis FK453. Same shop is doing both, but it is a street tune, not dyno. So at the moment I don't have actual numbers. But this summer a local guy will be finishing an AWD dyno, so I plan on doing some pulls and getting real numbers. You should not drive too long with the COBB SF intake if you are not tuned for it. It will throw off your MAF big time and may as a result run lean and knock.. Yeah, I know I plan on getting the final tune pretty quickly. But I may also hold off on installing the intake until a few days before I KNOW I'm getting tuned. Really depends on my schedule.
brywisco
Well I have an oil leak that I need to tackle in my 05 LG 5MT Wagon. When I had it up on a rack it appeared to be coming from the turbo return line - specifically, where the flanged pipe bolts to the turbo. I guess I have to pull the turbo to fix but first need to confirm the leak's locale. The wife acceptance factor (WAF) is low now because of this... seanyb505
Enhanced first pic to see if I could see a tire size. derp
On the silver enkeis I have 225...45/17 Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric all seasons, 8 inch wide wheel. The black BBS have 215/45/17 federal 595 rs-r. They run wide, but those BBSs are only 7 inches wide hence the narrowish tire. I could suck start a snow blower.
