2006Specb122
I cut the cord. Now I just stick it between the gas door and the pump. so just rest it on the pump while you are filling..... interesting.. you cut the cord? did you unscrew the other end from the car? Yup, there is nothing left of the cord. It is fully dismantled.

RJS5689
I jamb it in the pump like a wedge between the lower frame and the handle so I can walk around while it's filling. In Maine, they still let us lock the filler handle and walk away!

pillboy
The wife gets out and holds it for me We're talking about the gas cap. And I suppose she has to use both hands. It is still ugly.
Guest PeteAWD
I took the tether off when I purchased the vehicle new. Fuel station attendants can annoy me. I'll leave it at that.

apexi
Got bored when i was pumping gas today and decided to take a pic.. I just let it hang.. Inside part faces away from the vehicle so no worry about gasoline to paint touching, and I just can't see the cap doing a number on your cars finish.. I'd worry more about rock chips the front bumper/hood.
