legacy_y_tu
There's a noticeable red dust, but it washes off easily. Red dust??? With my HPS pads I get regular black colored dust and it's no worse than stock pads IMHO. Brake feel = mucho better. Also used anti-squeel and stock shims and have no noises whatsoever. ronemus
HPS. It takes a while to show up, and it's pretty humid in IN; it's probably the iron in the dust turning to rust.
rkl303
I think i get more dust with the hps pads as well. + squeel...not sure as to braking though as my tires are snow and I don't push the pads that hard in the first place
Yebbey
well, I did a couple of hard braking stops and the slight noise on slow stops seems to have stopped....haven't checked with the windows down though...it's getting hot out. They definitely have a better feel than stock pads. I haven't gotten any red dust....don't really notice more dust either.

whitetiger
Is it with the HP+ or street ones? HP+ pads dust up ALOT. Its the only thing i dont like about the pads. Otherwise, the car stops on a dime.
fatbastard
Whitetiger...aren't teh HP+ pads for higher temps? Did you run those through the winter and if so how were they for normal DD? I thought they needed to warm up to funstion well
whitetiger
the brochure i got withthe pads say they go from 100F to 900F. I did run them in the winter and had no issues with them. It dosent take much to get the rotors above 100F.
