Effin Ponderous
I sent my grill out recently to be finshed and it came back un-useable. The color was way off, the grll hadn't been prepped before painting. I went out and picked up a metalic duplicolor that matches the GRP perfectly, as well as a clear enamel to go over it. Mounting the "grill guy" grill material was a biatch, but it seems acceptable for now. I have some finishing touches to do but I think I brought this back from the dead. Sorry for the bad phone pics, but I'll post of the finals when done.

w_country14
looks good! So does your avatar . The grill does look good though. I was thinking about sending my DIY grill to a body shop and have them re-do it, but after hearing this I think I'll just leave it.

Effin Ponderous
Weird on the duplicolor...I'll have to go over the can again. I used a metalflake red with a clear enamel over it. It's not perfect, but as close as it gets. I then used the grillguy aluminum mesh powdercoated in black. Last step was to epoxy the Scooby emblem to center. Ill get a pic of the can for you.
