kenchan
so join me in my little why wax when you can Hydro? bit. here is my legacy with nothing but Hydro. there is no wax under it other than the polymer wax in Hydro. it lasted 4 weeks beading water through rain and snow and even some road salt. the shine is unbelievable. how to use... Just wash your car as usual. while you dry with your MF towel, just spray some Hydro on the panels as if you were using some quick detailer spray. that's it. no waiting, no buffing needed. the polymer will cure on its own in the 24hrs and will become a super deep gloss. the pict below is not that great as far as explaining the true effect of Hydro, but this was taken about 1hr after the Hydro app and you get the idea. it will get even glossier by tomorrow. I haven't even polished the paint on this car this season... www.detailersparadise.com search "Hydro." i just bought a gallon of this stuff. if you thought NXT was easy to use, try Hydro. It will easily out last NXT and is a much deeper gloss. Plus, you can get it on windows, trims, plastics and it won't stain/smear. no dry buff needed. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/gallery/data/500/legacy_sm_hydro2_4_15_07.jpg

iyalla
Not bad. I prefer Duragloss Aquawax which also is a polymer sealant and cost about $8 for a 22oz and can be used wet or dry. Best kept secret...ssshhhhh
wukindada
Anyone out there with any specials on it iyalla?? Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!
iyalla
^No specials the stuff is so affordable compared to other products and if you buy direct (http://www.duragloss.com) standard shipping is $4.50 regardless of how many items you buy from them, I highly recommend their 105 TPP polish and their Car wash shampoo. If you live on the West Coast you can check your local Napa, Federated or Carquest store for Duragloss.
kenchan
but the price of Hydro isn't that expensive is it? one bottle will last a while. you really don't need to use that much.
Kelvrick
Hmm... How does this compare to their own epic product, or wolfgang? Do you have any experience/insight on that? My Outback
kenchan
i have Epic as well... i will use it again before winter, but otherwise it will be Hydro-only in the warmer months. Hydro's finish is very similar to Epic. deep and wet. the car looked so much better today after ther 24hr cure.
kenchan
our office tested its water sprinkler system for the lawn yesterday and my car was heavily water spotted.... you can imagine how hard the water is during these initial tests with minerals and crap that sat inside the pipes. car washed off nicely within 15min. very well protected by Hydro and for winshield i had rain-x on it. i used my griot's CarWash and just washed like normal. thought id had to clay but nope. very impressed with the protection you get. praedet
I'll get one a little later today I have been using Wolfgang for awhile, but tried out a lot of the Primo (Detailer's Paradise) products. I put the hydro over two coats of their sealant (Equivalent of the Wolfgang stuff) that have been on about 4 weeks. The hydro is pretty cool, and it is supposed to get even better as it cures Only problem is I used alot. Probably more than I need too...
