evams Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 I was driving my Legacy GT Limited and my Odometer instead of reading the miles was periodically ready ILL.06. I'm very confused. Did it for about 20 minute drive using Sportronic mode. Later that evening went driving again and it didnt show. Also a few days ago my LCD screens on the A/C and Radio part would flicker. rao Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 ILL.06 means you had recently adjusted the brightness of the instrument lights (the little wheel next to the mirror adjustment joystick) - it shows the level you have set for a few seconds, totally normal. RoundBoy Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 your adjustment knob might be loose.. the flicker is your illumination going dark -> bright ... the ill06 is it reading the last illumination level set.. does that knob have a lot of play ? evams Posted November 1, 2004 Author Share Posted November 1, 2004 Ahhhh ok thanks for the post. I left a couple friends drive it the other night. I was to fucked up to drive. Hahah we got pulled over twice with no tickets. One was osu area 25mph we were following somebody else. copper pulled us over. Let us off cuz we werent familair with the area. Other time um my friend forgot to turn the lights all the way on. Haha cop was like u know your driving with no tailights. So he must of bumped the switch.
