Visionhu Posted October 15, 2007 Author Share Posted October 15, 2007 What was the verdict? Finally we found the problem. Removed the valve cover and had a look at the camshafts. One of the camshafts' fastening screw came a bit loose - actually there are two U-shaped metal parts that hold the camshaft to its place with two screws in each, if I remember correctly. So the only thing we had to do is to fasten the screws again, and that solved the noise problem. The only thing I can not understand, is how could the screw come loose?
