Atroz
Autoblog is reporting that BBS (wheels) has gone bankrupt. Not good for BBS, but I wonder if this might be an opportunity to get some good deals in the near future? http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/07/bbs-goes-bust/

DLy
They'll probably just get bought up by another company...and still use the BBS name brand since it's established
pillboy
Does this mean F1 cars will be running on Sprewell spinners? It is still ugly.

John M
That's how I got the 17x9 Fittipaldi's on my Stealth for only $75 each, shipped directly from the factory
Waxiboy
Does this mean F1 cars will be running on Sprewell spinners? that will be illegal because the spinners will act like a fan that will force cool the brakes.
flyboy333
I like to think that they went out of business because all of their wheels looked like crap.

str8dwn
BBS's NA HQ is/was here in ATL. I have been to the industry shows like PRI and was always so under-impressed with their marketing. If they weren't so far from my house, I would have loved to kick start things. I mean, how late were they to the tuner market? SUV plus sizing? They made web-look racing wheels and that's it. Momo will likely be next. No innovation+no new ideas+no marketing+hard-headed European ways=failure. I worked for another EU company in the racing industry who has the same blindness for innovation. It's crippling.
PGT
the consumer market may be *bling* dubs, but the enthusiast set is still strong. I've got a set of BBS sitting in the garage now, waiting on better weather. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y124/PatagonianGT/DSC03416.jpg
