Inigo Montoya
I just did this for my wife's car, an easy alternative is to go to a marine supply center if you have one near you. Look for marine grease used for trailers, synthetic. my tub cost me about 8 bucks. I also wrapped my swaybar in the teflon tape you get for plumbing supplies for a little extra insurance. No problems so far!
mwiener2
Anyone know where I can get about 20 gallons of KY? We're having a wrestling party when it gets warm. My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
Effin Ponderous
I just did the Energy Suspension bushing swap on my clunky Cuscos. That grease is like glue! And the clunks are gone ftw.
HansGT
thanks. when my cusco's were installed we used some marine grease. it's been about a year and i think they could use another shot of lube. actually I think I may have rubber bushings...this stuff still work? PGT
Cusco bars come with rubber bushings. Quiet, by design.
Turninconcepts
Wrap the bar in teflon tape. Edit: Where the bushing meets the bar in case that isn't clear.
Th3Franz
Wrap the bar in teflon tape. Edit: Where the bushing meets the bar in case that isn't clear. that'd be hilarious to see a sway bar with the entire thing wrapped in teflon tape. I'm gonna get some poly bushings and use this grease.. hopefully my sway bars will quiet down a little bit. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
