SolidFish
Could we get a posting on how many miles members are getting on a full tank of gas before the light. Although this varies between driving style, just trying to get an average feel. Also, could you post which model you own (GT, nonGT)?
Guest
You didn't state GT or 2.5i You need separate polls, otherwise the results will be pretty worthless
Xenonk
my GT (stock ECU) gets around anywhere from 280 miles to 310 before the light comes on for daily driving.. but I have milked the light til I hit 350 miles to 400 miles during road trips. warrior325
How many gallons does it usually take to top it off once the light goes on?
SolidFish
According to the manual, it says the light is on at about 2 gallons left. The tank is about 15.8 gallons total. Therefore, if we use the values given by the manual (23 / 28 mpg) for the 2.5i, then you should be able to put out 360 (325 - 386) miles or so before the light comes on. I'm not getting anywhere near this, therefore, asking if we could put a poll on what others are getting. Thanks
SpawnGT
i get exactly 250miles for one tank of 93 gas.
Xenonk
How many gallons does it usually take to top it off once the light goes on? I've filled as much as 17.0 gallons.. but I was really milking the hell out of the tank. normally, it's about 16 gallons. Keefe

psucaptainkickass
17 gallons? how is that possible on a 15.8 gallon tank??? The tank may be 15.8 gallons, but that is just the tank. There is other places fuel can go other than the tank...ie the pipe that takes it from the gas cap to the tank...etc...

al-gorithm
I was really complaining about mine until I read these... I get 310miles (i am converting from metric) with 50/50 city/hwy. I get 360miles with 25/75 city/hwy. This is to when the light comes on and have supposedly 60 miles left. I don't romp on it all the time but atleast 1-2 strong pulls on the highway each time I am on and moderately quick launches at every light but I cruise about 10 miles over the speed limit only err.. mostly... 91 octane Stage 2 with headers, FMIC, modded stock intake and 1 stock cat... hogmeat
I get about 190-210 miles per tank. 90% in town driving. Not city, just town. Plenty of spaces to let 'er rip. I'm pleasantly surprised... It was most certainly worth the couple bucks and 10 mins of my time. CLICK HERE FOR THE HOGZAUST
sclothier
I have an 05 GT, i made it 350 miles on tuesday before re-gassing which incidentally was before the low fuel light kicked in and the trip-meter said i had 60 miles left. 93 octane from the sheetz ($1.94 a gallon, you can be mad at me now for the price.)
