I live in houston inside the loop (610)

Where do you all live?

What mods u done?

Anyone good at diagosing problems, my turbo sounds louder now and my drivetrain is still all stock?

I have 18x8 BBS RE and a custom stereo, All JL but focal speakers.

Real soon I am going to be doing a lot of mods, stage 2, sways, coilovers and eventually the Brembos

im in The Hoodlands

Protuned by TDC

i am curious here on how it was protuned

did you drive up to TDC to get it done?

or did one of TDC's tuners fly down to tune the car

since i know TDC does E-Tunes but can it really be compared to a Protuned that is done on a Dyno for your car

i really like those rims..i'd like to get some 18"s as well.. only reason i put those rims on my car is because i had a nail in one of my tires that was almost on the sidewall.. had those rims i took off my jetta so i figured it would be cheaper to buy a set of lug nuts than a tire haha...

ill be getting an STI up this weekend.. as well as doing a 3" catback with no mufflers heh :) ... gotta sell some more of my stuff for my DP and im still trying to trade my aem cai for something i can use.. or just sell it.. i'd like to get the k&n typhoon and a lightened crank pulley sooner or later

anyone see any actual gains using a 3" inlet tube like the one perrin has? pretty damn pricey for something that seems more like eye candy.. i know itll flow better but you can't see that much gain i wouldn't think

Inlet tubes don't do much unless you go bigger turbo.

No mufflers? It's gonna wear you out. I've got an electric cutout just after my Cobb DP and it just tires me out if I leave it open for too long.

idk.. ive always had my cars loud.. ran my 77 plymouth open.. no cats no mufflers.. ran my silverado with no muffler.. ran my jetta with no muffler.. ect lol

as long as you dynamat the floorboard the interior noise is not bad at all... unless you have it dumped.. dumped exhausts are annoying when they resonate back up in the cabin

long as the pipes are out the back and you have some sort of deadening.. your good to go :)

...btw.. don't waste money on dynamat.. go to lowes and get rolls of peal-n-seal for $13 a pop :)... thats the cheapest deadener youll get
